NOTE: A retainer fee is required to initiate work on any project. In the event of project cancellation by the client, this fee is nonrefundable.

FEES FOR WORK WITHOUT A NEGOTIATED RETAINER:

• Per hour off-site: $175
  (on-site half day minimum: $650).
• Per day: $1200 on-site
  Off-site work will be charged at the daily rate when 8+ hours are accumulated within a week.
• Weekly (40 hrs): $6500
  On-site off-site work will be charged at the weekly rate when 40 or more hours are accumulated within a month.

Fees may be negotiated with payment of a retainer and a guaranteed monthly minimum (6 month minimum contract required)

R&D PROJECT FEES:
R&D fees vary with the product or project and may range from $2000 to $20,000, depending on complexity. Please ask for a quote.

PRODUCT ANALYSIS:
These also vary widely with the specific product, and prices may range from $1500 to $5000. Please ask for a quote.

MICROPHOTOGRAPHY: Photography with the light microscope is used for quality control and validation of cleaning of electronic surfaces, monitoring accelerated shelf life testing of polymers, and materials identification. Please ask for a quote.

EXPERT WITNESS SERVICES:

• Research/report preparation: $275 per/hr
• Average cost: $2000-5000 (10-20 hrs)
• Depositions: $375 per hr (half day minimum)
• Court testimony: $475 per hr (half day minimum)
• A flat fee of $2000 will be charged for a scheduled court appearance cancelled by settlement of the case prior to trial.

TRAINING SEMINARS:
Customized for the organization

• Per day: $12,000
• Per half day: $7500 (30-40 maximum enrollment)

EXPENSES:
All expenses (travel, laboratory testing, telephone charges, etc.) are paid by the client.

RETAINER ARRANGEMENTS:
For the client who needs a few hours per month on a regular basis, we offer consulting on a retainer basis.

The advantages include reduced hourly rates, reduced special project bids, and priority consideration. The client pays a flat monthly rate which includes a specified minimum number of hours per month, with excess hours billed at the discounted hourly rate. For example, 8 hours a month, normally billed at $125/hr, would run $600/month on a retainer agreement. Services covered by retainer include regulatory work, telephone troubleshooting, improvement of current formulas, qa/qc specifications, mixing equipment recommendations, etc.
